02/09/2024

We are thrilled to share a significant milestone for our Brighton project! The Hon. Sonya Kilkenny MP, Victorian Planning Minister, has officially approved our ambitious development at 47 South Road, Brighton!

The approved planning application involves the subdivision of the 3.3ha of land, previously the Xavier College junior campus, into 13 individual lots, the construction of 83 modern dwellings, and the restoration of the heritage house and gardens. This development is set to elevate luxury living in Brighton and deliver substantial residential growth to the area.

Minister Kilkenny stated, “This development represents a pivotal step forward in providing much-needed housing in Brighton. The project will not only enhance the local environment but also contribute to the region’s economic growth and community development.”

The development plans include extensive green spaces and amenities, reflecting Golden Age’s commitment to creating not just homes, but vibrant community environments. The integration of sustainable practices and thoughtful urban design will ensure that the new residences meet the highest standards of environmental responsibility and livability.

“Our project will not only enhance the local environment, but will provide residents the comfort and security of premium designed residences and surrounding grounds, as well as contribute to the area’s economic growth and community development” said Damien Hehir, Development Director at Golden Age Group.

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting journey to shape a vibrant future for Brighton and beyond.
