Ocean 12 set to redefine Melbourne’s nightlife

Golden Age Group is set to redefine Melbourne’s nightlife experience with the opening of its newest hospitality venue, Ocean 12, designed by renowned multidisciplinary practice, Cox Architecture.

Located at Crown, the venue will be a melting pot of style, hospitality and entertainment, boasting an extensive collection of 60 Cubar cigar varieties and 300 types of whiskey from across the world – one of the largest assortments in Melbourne.

But it’s the venues’ karaoke offering of 33 private rooms, each individually designed by Cox Architecture ranging from intimate spaces to large apartment-sized rooms, that is set to lift the bar of karaoke as Melburnians know it.

Every room gives guests access to 140,000 songs in six languages, including English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean and Khmer, with some rooms boasting a dedicated bartender and private cigar terrace with spectacular views of the Yarra River and the city’s skyline.

The official opening of the venue was held on Thursday, August 8 with a night of celebrations including a stellar performance from Sydney-based artist CXLOE, delectable tapas from our award-winning chef and of course, whiskey from our world class sommeliers.

Ocean 12 will be open seven days a week from 6pm to 5am and is located on Level 3 at Crown Melbourne.
