The first half of 2024 has been incredibly eventful and dynamic for Golden Age Group. We are thrilled to share the highlights of our achievements and milestones over the past six months. From the Groundbreaking Ceremony of SKY SQR and the Topping Out Ceremony of 130 Little Collins to prestigious awards, our efforts have set new benchmarks in the industry, showcasing our commitment to excellence and innovation.
SKY SQR – BREAKING GROUND
June 24th, 2024, marked a significant milestone as we celebrated the groundbreaking of our visionary SKY SQR project in Box Hill. The event was attended by the Mayor of Whitehorse, Cr Denise Massoud, the Deputy Mayor, Andrew Davenport, and other esteemed councillors, along with representatives from our valued partners. Cr Denise Massoud remarked, “This new precinct will allow residents to live, work, and play in a vibrant space, supporting a thriving Whitehorse community now and into the future.” This momentous occasion set the stage for transforming Box Hill into a vibrant hub of connectivity and culture.

130 LITTLE COLLINS – REACHING NEW HEIGHT
On March 22nd, we marked the topping out of 130 Little Collins. The event, graced by the presence of the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Sally Capp AO, highlighted the development as an “iconic place in Melbourne.” This project features meticulously crafted public amenities within a state-of-the-art complex, further establishing its status as a landmark in the city.

FLORET – CONSTRUCTION UPDATE AT FLORET
Stage 1 Concrete slabs and driveways completed, framing is nearly finished!
Stage 2 Inground works and concrete slabs are almost done, with framing works progressively wrapping up!
SKY GARDEN & THE HARRINGTON COLLECTION & ACE HOTEL SYDNEY – ACHIEVE INDUSTRY HONOURS
In collaboration with Hannas, The Harrington Collection received a prestigious 5-star award in the Residential Development 20+ Units category for Australia and was also nominated for Best Residential Development 20+ Units Asia Pacific.
Sky Garden was also announced as the winner of the Asia Pacific Property Award’s Apartment/Condominium Development category in Australia.
Ace Hotel Sydney was proudly shortlisted for the 2024 The Urban Developer Industry Excellence Award for Excellence in Commercial Innovation.

MOTHERโS DAY CELEBRATION
This year, on Mother’s Day, we organised two community activities to deliver love and gratitude to mums. Our celebrations began at the Wembley Hill display suite with two Sip and Paint workshops. The showroom transformed into a lively art hub where laughter, colour, and warmth filled the air, creating lasting memories for families. Following this, at The Glen Shopping Centre, our Floret Kiosk blossomed into a festive corner brimming with joy. A wall of voice recorders provided a medium for everyone to express love and gratitude through heartfelt messages to their beloved mums.

BHUFC GAME NIGHT – CHEERS FOR ATHLETICS
During the May game night, Golden Age, as the principal partner of Box Hill United Football Club, hosted a booth to cheer for the athletes, offering support and complimentary refreshments to the local community. Our involvement underscores our dedication to fostering strong community connections and supporting local initiatives.
